Melasti is the southern Bukit's signature beach: a road switchbacks straight through white limestone cliffs down to a wide band of white sand and turquoise water. One of the south's most beautiful beaches — and reachable by scooter or car, no stairways.
Swimming is friendlier than most of the Bukit: moderate waves, sandy entry. There are cafes, loungers and beach clubs. At high tide the sand strip narrows — check the tide chart for the best hours.
