Privacy Policy
Last updated 17 October 2026
The short version: we collect no personal data on this Website — there are no forms that send it to our server, no accounts and no payments. The only thing gathered automatically is anonymised visit statistics. Below are the details and your rights.
1. Who operates this website
This Policy explains what information is collected about visitors to sravnibali.com (the Website) and how it is used. It covers everything we may learn about you while you browse, in both the English and Russian sections of the site.
Operator: Sergei Mikhailovich Rudakov, individual entrepreneur (IE) registered in Russia, Tax ID (INN) 772590864907, state registration number (OGRNIP) 326774600767768, Moscow, Russia. Contact address for any data request: info@sravnibali.com.
The Policy is drawn up under Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 on Personal Data, the law that applies to the Operator. By using the Website you confirm that you have read it; if you disagree with anything here, please do not use the Website.
2. What we do NOT collect
The Website has no sign-up, no user accounts and no contact forms that transmit your details to our server. We do not ask for and do not store your name, phone number, email address, passport or payment details. No payment is taken on the Website, and no card or bank data is ever entered here.
The search, filter and calculator tools run locally in your browser: the dates and budget you type are used only to build the text of a message that you then send to a manager yourself, in your own messenger. Until you send it, that information never leaves your device.
3. What is collected automatically
As on any website, visiting it generates anonymised technical records:
- IP address, from which an approximate region can be derived;
- browser and operating system type and version, screen size, language;
- date and time of the request, pages viewed, the page that referred you;
- cookies and similar technologies (see the section on Yandex Metrica below).
This data does not allow the Operator to identify you as a specific individual and is used for traffic statistics and to improve the Website. Web-server logs are kept for no longer than 30 days. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Yandex Metrica and cookies
Anonymised traffic statistics may be collected with Yandex Metrica (YANDEX LLC). The service uses cookies and records visitor behaviour — pages viewed, clicks, traffic source, device parameters. The resulting data is processed on Yandex servers under the Yandex Privacy Policy and the Yandex Metrica terms of use.
You can opt out of statistics collection at any time: block or delete cookies in your browser settings, switch on Do Not Track, or install the Yandex Metrica opt-out add-on. Disabling cookies does not restrict access to any material on the Website, though some conveniences — such as a saved comparison list — may stop working.
Besides cookies the Website uses your browser’s local storage (localStorage) to remember recently viewed places and your comparison list. Those records stay on your own device, are never transmitted to the Operator, and disappear when you clear site data in your browser.
5. If you contact us yourself
When you write to us on Telegram, WhatsApp or by email, we receive whatever you choose to send: a name or nickname, your messenger handle, the content of your message and your wishes about dates and accommodation. We use it for one purpose only — to answer you and suggest places to stay.
The legal basis is your consent, given by the act of contacting us, together with the need to take steps at your request before any agreement is concluded. Correspondence is kept until the enquiry is resolved and in any case no longer than one year after the last contact, after which it is deleted.
Please note that Telegram and WhatsApp are independent services that process data under their own rules, which the Operator does not control.
6. Why we process this data
- keeping the Website running and its infrastructure secure;
- analysing anonymised traffic and improving the structure and content of our guides;
- answering enquiries and suggesting places to stay when asked;
- measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns in anonymised form.
7. Sharing with third parties and outbound links
The Operator does not sell visitor data and does not pass it to third parties for their own use. Disclosure is possible only in these cases:
- YANDEX LLC — to the extent needed for Yandex Metrica to work, where the counter is installed;
- to competent government authorities, in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The Website links to external resources: property pages on apartmentbali.com, online booking platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Trip.com), flight search and travel insurance services. Some of those links are affiliate links. Once you follow a link you are on a third party’s website, and the handling of your data is governed by its own policy; the Operator is not responsible for the content or the policies of third-party sites.
8. Data security
The Operator takes reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect the information it processes against unlawful access, loss, alteration and disclosure. Traffic between your browser and the Website is encrypted with HTTPS. The Website contains no forms that accept personal data, which further reduces the risk of any leak.
9. If you are in the EU or the UK (GDPR)
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to a visit from the EU, the EEA or the United Kingdom, you have the right to ask for access to the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing — including objecting to analytics cookies, which you can also simply refuse in your browser — and to receive a copy of it in a portable form where that applies.
In practice we hold almost nothing about an ordinary visitor: anonymised statistics and server logs that are not linked to your identity. If you have written to us, we hold that conversation, and we will delete it on request.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@sravnibali.com. To be transparent: the Operator is a sole trader based in Russia, has not appointed a data protection officer and has no representative in the EU or the UK — requests are handled by the Operator personally. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
10. Rights under Russian law
Under Article 14 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ you are entitled to information about the processing of your personal data, to demand that it be corrected, blocked or destroyed if it is incomplete, outdated, unlawfully obtained or no longer necessary for the stated purpose, and to withdraw consent previously given.
Send any such request to info@sravnibali.com; we reply within the period set by law. You may also challenge the Operator’s actions before Roskomnadzor or in court.
11. Changes to this Policy
The Operator may amend this Policy. The current version is always available at sravnibali.com/en/privacy, and the date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the document — 17 October 2026. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the new version.
This English text is provided for the convenience of international visitors. The Russian version is the original and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
