About this place

A small, charming villa for two built in traditional Indonesian style and surrounded by rice fields, a five-minute drive from central Ubud. It mixes Balinese character, with an authentic tiled roof over a high timber vault, and plain modern finishes in natural stone and microcement. Inside there is one air-conditioned bedroom with a large solid-wood bed, a ceiling fan and sliding glass doors that open straight onto the courtyard. Guests also get a semi-open kitchen with a gas hob, a large fridge and a dining area, plus a bathroom in polished concrete with a rain shower. The grounds are private and walled: your own turquoise pool, stone paths, a sun lounger and a terrace looking out over the rice terraces. Good value for a quiet stay for two, with Ubud's cafes and shops close by.

Questions

How much does this villa in Ubud cost?

$25 per night or $400 per month for longer stays, with a minimum stay of 7 nights. This is the owner's own rate — booking platforms add their 15–25% commission on top of rates like this. A refundable deposit of $175 applies.

Is this cheaper than a hotel in the same area?

Yes — by roughly $32 a night. The median price of comparable hotels in Ubud is about $57 for a room for two, while this is a whole place of 60 m² with its own kitchen and a pool.

How do I book?

Message us on Telegram or WhatsApp with your dates — we check availability with the owner and confirm. Booking and payment happen directly with the management company, not on this site; you get a rental agreement.

What is Ubud like?

See our area guide for what Ubud is good at and who it suits — surf, nightlife, rice fields or quiet family stays differ a lot between Bali's areas.

How far is the beach?

About 18 km, with shops and cafés around 450 m away. On Bali most people get around by scooter; distances that look short on a map can take longer in traffic.
