About this place

Two separate timber bungalows built in the traditional lumbung style, with their curved roofs and a pool of their own. The villa sits on the quiet edge of a Balinese village in Ubud, away from busy roads, looking out over green rice fields. Each bungalow holds one bedroom clad in natural wood, with a double bed, air conditioning, solid-wood furniture and a private balcony terrace facing the pool. There are two separate bathrooms in a semi-open eco style, with stone basins and pebble finishes. The shared covered area is generous: an open summer kitchen with cabinets, a hob and a fridge, and a dining space built around a heavy slab-wood table with a small sofa alongside. In the middle of the private courtyard is the azure pool, with Balinese sculptures around it. A quiet, traditional base for up to four guests.

Questions

How much does this villa in Ubud cost?

$40 per night or $630 per month for longer stays, with a minimum stay of 5 nights. This is the owner's own rate — booking platforms add their 15–25% commission on top of rates like this. A refundable deposit of $200 applies.

Is this cheaper than a hotel in the same area?

Yes — by roughly $26 a night. The median price of comparable hotels in Ubud is about $66 for a room for two, while this is a whole place of 90 m² with its own kitchen and a pool.

How do I book?

Message us on Telegram or WhatsApp with your dates — we check availability with the owner and confirm. Booking and payment happen directly with the management company, not on this site; you get a rental agreement.

How far is the beach?

About 18 km, with shops and cafés around 450 m away. On Bali most people get around by scooter; distances that look short on a map can take longer in traffic.
