About this place

A one-off two-storey eco villa of custom design, built from solid timber and volcanic stone on the edge of the Petulu jungle beside a river. Full-height glazing, sloping wooden vaults, warm parquet and open-sided rooms put you right inside the island's wild side. The ground floor holds a spacious lounge with wooden furniture, a coffee table, a sofa, a ceiling fan and a dining set, plus an open kitchen in traditional style with a stone sink, a hob and a water dispenser. The kitchen's tall wooden windows swing open straight into the forest. The house has two bathrooms and sleeps up to four. From the living room you step onto a wide timber terrace with a private plunge pool surrounded by palms, banana trees and greenery. The place hides in its own riverside pocket, yet busy central Ubud, with its well-known restaurants, coffee shops and galleries, is a five-minute walk away.

Questions

How much does this villa in Ubud cost?

$68 per night or $1,150 per month for longer stays, with a minimum stay of 5 nights. This is the owner's own rate — booking platforms add their 15–25% commission on top of rates like this. A refundable deposit of $340 applies.

Is this cheaper than a hotel in the same area?

Yes — by roughly $23 a night. The median price of comparable hotels in Ubud is about $91 for a room for two, while this is a whole place of 105 m² with its own kitchen and a pool.

How do I book?

Message us on Telegram or WhatsApp with your dates — we check availability with the owner and confirm. Booking and payment happen directly with the management company, not on this site; you get a rental agreement.

What is Ubud like?

See our area guide for what Ubud is good at and who it suits — surf, nightlife, rice fields or quiet family stays differ a lot between Bali's areas.

How far is the beach?

About 19 km, with shops and cafés around 300 m away. On Bali most people get around by scooter; distances that look short on a map can take longer in traffic.
